Transport your students into a world of education, Disney-style, within the magical setting of the Disney Parks that showcases how valuable principles learned in the classroom make exciting things happen every day at our Disney attractions. Taught by specially trained Disney facilitators, these hands-on courses increase learning desire, encourage students to reach their potential and demonstrate the importance of teamwork, all in a unique setting that combines the classroom with the real world (most programs 3 hours).

Applied Sciences

Energy and Waves Physics Lab | Disney Youth Education Series

Embark on an interactive adventure where you’ll explore the physics of light and sound through select attractions at Magic Kingdom park and examine the wide range of the electromagnetic spectrum.

Students will discover how energy is transmitted by light and sound waves. Participants will also learn how these waves affect the Disney Guest experience and day-to-day life. Additionally, students find out how light and sound can be manipulated.

Properties of Motion Physics Lab | Disney Youth Education Series

Experience physics in practical application as we demonstrate force, motion, and gravity at work in some of the most popular attractions at Magic Kingdom park. Students will gain an understanding of inertia, centripetal force and other properties of motion via real-world applications, exhibited in theme park attractions.

The Evolution of Technology | Disney Youth Education Series

Explore the attractions of Future World at Epcot to develop an understanding of how human needs and wants to drive the development and acceleration of technology. Students discover the progressive nature of technology as they explore factors that influence and impact development and acceptance.

Discovering Marine Life Conservation at Epcot®

Explore diverse marine environments with educators from The Seas with Nemo & Friends while learning about marine conservation and how you can help protect ocean life. Students play the role of marine conservationists to learn about the difficulties facing aquatic animals in the wild and ways they can help them. During this program, your group will practice their observational skills to identify a variety of fish species, as well as predators and prey. They will also team up to brainstorm creative solutions for protecting our oceans and marine life.  (Grade 3-7)

Principles of Animal Behavior at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park

Explore the fascinating and surprising world of animal behavior. See exotic animals in their natural habitat and engage in hands-on activities to learn how they survive and thrive.  Through observation and exploration of wildlife, students will discover how behavior contributes to animals’ well-being and survival in the wild. Traveling through the unique lands and settings of Disney’s Animal Kingdom park, students will gain knowledge of the challenges and threats that face wildlife populations, along with the potential consequences and impact these adversities have on humankind. This journey leads students to understand that each animal species has a place in the circle of life.

Sustainable Practices in Wildlife Conservation at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park

Discover how diverse cultures and animals respond to conservation challenges on a global level as you adventure through Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. Bring environmental studies lessons to life with this program at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Park. Students gain new perspective while discovering how all people and animals are connected, and how each uniquely responds to environmental challenges. Your group will study different cultural perspectives on conservation, challenges to fossil fuels and the human development of renewable energy. Students will work together using their new knowledge to create an effective conservation action plan.(Grades 6-12)

Investigate proven management strategies employed by The Walt Disney Company, see how leadership spurs innovation, and promote personal and professional success.Students will learn Disney management skills and business strategies for becoming an effective leader. In this academic adventure specially designed activities help students explore their entrepreneurial skills, practice communicating with and empowering people and discover how to inspire team excellence. (Grades 9-12)

Exploring Careers in theMarineSciences atEpcot®

“Make a splash” and investigate five fascinating career tracks during this program. Discover how Disney scientists maintain the environment and inhabitants of the nearly 6 million gallon aquarium at the center of The Seas with Nemo & Friends, which is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Students will learn the education and training required for a marine science profession, understand the responsibilities of studying and caring for aquatic animals and how they can play a role in oceanic conservation. (Grades 7-12)

Managing Your Personal Brand at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®

This field study aims to help students become self-aware, self-disciplined and selfmotivated to increase their potential for becoming future leaders. Your group will learn that their choices tell their personal story and that they have the power to control their image. They will come to understand how to project a positive image, build their skill set through the collection of experience and apply them to leading others. (Grades 6-9)

Exploring Careers in the Zoological Sciences at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park

Students will study the various animal science roles – from animal behaviorist to nutritionist – at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. Throughout this hours field study students Investigate the different people that it takes to care for the animals within the park, learn their responsibilities and the value of their individual contribution to the operation

Fun and Learning at Disney WorldDiscovering the American Spirit at Magic Kingdom® Park

From the Wild West to the Declaration of Independence, students are transported back in time to experience American history through the stories and attractions in Liberty Square and Frontierland.Students will journey into Liberty Square to get better acquainted with our country’s great leaders and understand the impact of their influence. Then explore Frontierland to learn about sharing our cultural values and traditions from one generation to the next. In this academic adventure, students will also act as American pioneers to study the Gold Rush and the challenges of settling the western frontier. (Grades 4-12)

Fundamentals of Photo Storytelling at Epcot®

With Epcot® as the subject, students will learn the how to capture images that tell a story. In this program, they will learn to observe with their creative lens and practice photography techniques that connecting people, places and events. This program was developed in conjunction withJostens, a leader in celebrating and sharing memorable occasions.(Grades 7-12)

Techniques of Teamwork through Improvisation at Epcot®

In this program at Epcot®, students gain insights into how improvisational theories can be applied to real-life situations at home, school or in future careers. Every student plays a role in a mock production and they are taught professional communication techniques that, with practice, help build confidence, unleash creativity and cultivate teamwork. (Grades 6-12)

Introduction to Global Citizenship at Epcot®

Discover how technology, communication, and commerce have bridged cultural gaps around the world as you navigate the international pavilions of Epcot® World Showcase.Students will explore the cultures of several nations represented within Epcot’s World Showcase where students will interact with international ambassadors to gain an understanding of how technology, communication, and commerce bridge cultural gaps. In this 3-hour academic adventure students discover that while cultures vary, we all united in a global community. (grades 4-9)

Exploring Disney Animation History at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®

Discover the history, innovation and production processes behind animating some of the most beloved Disney films and characters.Enroll in the Animation Academy, the birthplace of many Disney animated feature films, to discover the innovative animation processes Walt Disney developed that changed the way stories were told and brought beloved characters to life. During this program, students will learn how to sketch a famous Disney character, experiment with early production processes and develop their storytelling skills. (Grades 3-12)

Backstage at La Nouba™ at Cirque du Soleil® – Downtown Disney®

Get an inside look at the international phenomenon that is Cirque du Soleil® and learn what it takes to bring this dazzling spectacle to the stage.Go backstage at La Nouba™ by Cirque du Soleil® to uncover the artistry, training, preparation and support systems required to produce more than 470 shows a year. During this behind-the-scenes tour of the theater including the stage, training facilities, costuming and props areas, students will realize the importance of communication, teamwork, practice, and dedication to fulfilling their goals. During this program, students see how dance, music, theater, visual arts, and technology meld into one breathtaking performance. (Grades 6-12) (2-hour)
